A man named Olayinka Arimoro who has been congratulating and celebrating people on LinkedIn has shared how his mentor told him that one day it will be his turn. He finally suceeded and just landed in Canada yesterday, to begin his training in Biostatistics.
He was also overwhelmed as this is his first time on an aeroplane.
He shared the exciting news on LinkedIn.
See his post below:
Rita Orji, PhD said these exact words here on LinkedIn about 7 months ago when I was hoping for my Canadian Visa.
“You have been clapping for other people wholeheartedly as they WIN. It’s now your turn! Go and win! We are ready to clap for you! Who am talking to?”
Guess what?!
This visa got refused but I didn’t loose faith especially with the amazing mentors and friends I had around me.
Well… I am glad to say that those words have become a reality today. I finally won!
I got into Canada yesterday to begin my training in Biostatistics under the supervision of Dr. Tolu Sajobi at the University of Calgary.
Emmanuel Nduka I finally got to enter an aeroplane too for the first time in my life (the experience of entering three planes and staying 12 hours at Toronto Airport is something I will share soon).
I am forever indebted to Olawale F. Ayilara, Busola Sanusi-Akinfaderin, PhD, Bayo (Olubayo) Adekanmbi, Mr. Ayoola Ademola.
I am indeed helped and favoured of the Lord!
I have a really long story to share about this journey.. The journey started with just a declaration I made in 2016.
Friends, please wish me well on this new journey.
