From Being Raised By A Hospital Cook To Becoming An Inspirational Physiotherapist, Meet Wanda Mhobo

From being raised by a hospital cook to becoming an inspirational Physiotherapist.

Meet – Wanda Mhobo, Senior Physiotherapist and CEO of WM Physiotherapists, a home based physiotherapy practice that operates in Gauteng, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape.

He was born and bred in a small rural town of Lady Frere located in the Eastern Cape Province. He was brought up by his grandmother who worked as a cook in a local government hospital. Wanda dreamt of becoming a Physiotherapist that would one day go back and work in the very same hospital where his granny worked as a cook and he has fulfilled such a dream.

Wanda leads a team of highly passionate and skilled Physiotherapists that have treated South Africa and Africa’s icons such as the late Dr Richard Maponya, the legendary musician Johnny Clegg, the ANC stalwart Mr Songezo Mjongile and the late Cameronian business man Dr Joseph Defesso Kadji to name but a few.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town and has been in practice for more than 10 years.
