😂These are not my best pictures but they represent one of my best experiences.. This is what I gained from my internship at Dangote sugar refinery :-
An industrial and practical view of what process Engineering entails…. I saw the real life engineering applications of all the theories learnt in school
The experience of meeting new people and learning more about their personalities and different struggles.. I met a lot of beautiful people
The experience of waking up early enough to prepare for work as well as the horrible Lagos traffic and fuel scarcity (even the bike ban struggles)
I especially gained the processes involved in refining, packaging and supplying refined granulated white sugar from its raw form (Trust me it involves a lot more than you think)
I even learnt all processes involved in water treatment and boiler house steam generation for electrical energy generation.
Overall, Dangote sugar refinery is an amazing place to be with a set of amazing people from different cultures and backgrounds.
I’m very grateful for this opportunity i had.
