Precious Onome Egbaoghene is hardworking and highly prospective. He speaks to Elora’s Blog in this interview.

Please tell us about your background?

My name is Precious Onome Egbaoghene aka WhiteDove aka ZoboKing. I’m from Delta State but was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. I’m the first child/son from a family of 5, though am from a polygamous family of 17.

You’re an Entrepreneur, what’s your line of business?

I’m in the Food production and processing industry. Were we make local Beverages like Zobo Energy Drink and many more.

What inspired you to start up your business?

My first experience was in 1998 when i was Hawking ice water then. But most recently, my love for food fueled my early passion. But more seriously is the fact that I’m a first son and salary life wont enable me achieve my financial goes in life so i decided to swim in the blue oceans; or better still, jump from a mountain and invent a parachute before landing,haha.

How were you able to raise fund for your business?

For several months I was looking for investments, loans or support to start big. But after a while, a friend told me to use the power of ABC IN RAISING CAPITAL ……so it’s either I Ask, Borrow or Capitalize on what I have. I also got support from my Co-founder , Edith Isesele. And we actually started this business with as big as #3,000 lol.

How do you advertise your business?

I strictly advertise on Facebook, Instagram and broadcast on WhatsApp. Then I use word of mouth very shamelessly.

What are the challenges you’ve faced while running your business?

Major challenge is scaling. And our major limitation is NAFDAC License.

It’s challenging and rewarding at the same time, only if you’re futuristic . It pays when we decide to continue or continue. No redeployment at all.

Has it been financially rewarding?

It’s been really financially rewarding , though not at the scale we wanted. But we are beating our targets and hitting milestones too, and soon we will surpass our Goals.

Where do you see your brand in 5 years?

Becoming the no. 1 alternative soft drink in Nigeria, and the most healthy option at that, so help us God.
