Blessing Ekong is a black beautiful model, she’s passionate about her career, she speaks to Elora’s Blog in this interview.

Please tell us about your background?

My name is Blessing Ekong, popularly known as BLONDE CHICK.
I’m an indigene of Ndon-uruan of uruan LGA Akwa Ibom state.
I’m the only child of my mum, a single mum. Though my late dad has other kids with various women… Some I’ve met, and some I haven’t.

Growing up for me was kind of complicated… Having my both my both parents fight over who’s gonna take custody of me and that made me change several schools but I finally completed high school here in Port Harcourt.

You’re a model, who discovered you?
I was discovered by my manager Mr. Macjones Olika. May God continue to bless him.

Who are the brands you’ve worked with?
I’ve worked for a couple of brands in and outside portharcourt. Fashion houses, makeup artistes, hair salon and so on. I am still pushing and aiming higher by God’s grace hoping that 2018 will be a greater year for my career.

How does it feel When you walk on the runaway?
How I feel on the runway, this is the part I love so much in modeling…. And when i work on it, I feel like I’m on top of the world (Lol)

What’s the best modeling you’ve ever done?

I’d say it’s the runway because that’s where you showcase yourself to the world!

What have you benefited from modeling?

Modeling helped me discover who i really am. It has made me gained my confidence. Meet top people in the industry, and of course the ‘Cash’ because modeling is a business.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years I’m going to be one of the mist successful models and will be impacting on the young aspirants. (This will would be a dream come true).

If you’ve to seat and dine with a model for an hour that inspires you, who would that be?

Definitely Naomi Campbell. She’s such an inspiration to me.
