Adeline Oguzie is very young but smart, she has found her passion in the beauty world even though she’s a student. She create out time for her business which brings an extra source of income for her, she’s an inspiration to young ladies.

Please tell us about your background?
My name is Oguzie Adeline I’m 22 and a final year student of Imo state university currently studying English and literary studies ,I’m a mother of one and happily married.

You’re an Entrepreneur, what’s your line of business?

Yes I’m an entrepreneur and I’m into beauty essentials like makeup and skin care products broadly I’m a makeup artist nation wide and I sell organic facial products made by me … they’re aimed to remove any form of ailments , sunburn and discoloration on the face including pimples as well.

What inspired you to start up your business?

Well ever since I was 17 I’ve had potentials of serializing big dreams so I got inspired by a beautician named Chidinma Umeh the famous makeup artist who has worked hard to be where she is at the moment ..and from this I decided to stand firm in the areas I’m specialized on.

How were you able to raise fund for your business?

Well raising funds wasn’t an easy thing for me ,firstly I sold of some of my earings and flat sandals which were given as a gift by my uncle abroad and I could raise just a little money to buy my first makeup product which were just six pieces (smiles) yet I still managed them to achieve my first makeup on one of my client who wanted to celebrate her birthday and she actually loved it and paid me 300 naira as at 7 years ago.

How do you advertise your business?

Well I advertise my business mostly online and even with my face because my skin care products has done justice to my face a lot that’s why I decided to show it of to the world to see how smooth looking they were.

What are the challenges you’ve faced while running your business?

well like a normal human being I faced a lot of challenges as well, both physical and spiritually especially with people who weren’t happy with me as I grew better and better ,most especially it came from the area of funds ,it wasn’t easy for me but I backed it up with prayer and girl power.

How does it feel being your own boss?

Being my own boss felt extremely great .

Has it been financially rewarding?

Ofcourse it has and I’m greatful to my God

Where do you see your brand in the 5 years?

like my friends and family would always say, they see me going places and 5 years from now with God’s grace I’ll blow off the minds of every one with my progress.
