The Hardest thing to give up on is my Relationship with Jesus Christ
Growing up as a young girl, I have cultivated the habit of making people around happier than I met them.. So when I became a Christain and selfless follower of Jesus Christ, it became my joy to make a great impact in people’s life.. Like I always ask myself, “What will Jesus Do” if he had met an individual with such a situation. Helping or changing the lives of people might not really be in terms of materials things..
I met a lady one day on the street, looking very tired and unkept, she walked up to me to beg for money.. I looked straight into her eyes, even with the helpless condition, she was still looking beautiful, I took her into the Church premises where I work.. asked her few questions, I wanted to know what brought her to this condition, she explained everything to me, at that point I was so cold, I had so much pity on her, then I asked her if she had a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, she replied no, I immediately lead her to Christ.. And watched her respond to the prayer with tears rolling from her eyes..At the point I met her she was homeless and without job, i gave her some money and prayed for her… She left and came back looking for me after some week to thank me..
I kept on encouraging and teaching her how to put her faith to work, that GOD truly answers prayer if she has faith… Some days later God opened a door of Blessings for her and she got a place to stay and started a business.
So many more people have been affected positively… Sometimes all we need to give to an helpless and depressed individuals is our prayers, Encouragement and attention.. I am always Thankful to GOD for giving me the privilege of making people smile and happy.
