From Delivering Newspapers To Working In Fast Food, Lady Who Is Now A Doctor Outlines 15 Jobs She Did In The Past, Says The Jobs Helped Her Gain Valuable Experiences

An hardworking Doctor named Jennifer Caudle has taken time to outline the numerous jobs she did in the past and how it has helped her gain valuable experiences over the years.

Sharing on LinkedIn, she wrote:

Babysitter
Lawn worker
Corn-detassler
Fast Food Restaurant Worker
Musician
Cafeteria worker
Newspaper Delivery
Work-Study Student
College Resident Advisor
Pageant Contestant/Titleholder (this was a job)
Secret Shopper
MTV Networks Employee
Research Associate
Med School Tutor

These are just some of the jobs I’ve had over the years.

I was always someone who had to work- whether in middle, high school, college or beyond.

My parents were teachers and while my brother and I never went without, we had to work to afford our education and it was simply something that we expected.

While some might think it would be nice to not have to work all of these jobs, I actually believe my work is where I gained some of my most valuable experiences.

From delivering newspapers to working in fast food – these jobs helped me develop skills that I can’t imagine living without. From interacting with people, to learning responsibility, empathy, diligence and dedication, I’m proud of every single job I had and what it has taught me. In fact, I know I’m a better doctor for having worked all the jobs that I’ve had.

While it might seem that NOT having to work is a luxury, I actually believe the opposite.

Working has provided opportunities for me to learn and grow as a person that I wouldn’t have had otherwise and I’m better for it. 🌟
