Vision plays a very critical role in the place of leadership. It is fair to say that without it, there might be no real leadership. When you have a good idea of where you are headed, it becomes easier to lead and also encourage those who are following, as they can see what the end goal is.

You cannot lead successfully without a road map and a clear destination.

Vision is such a powerful thing. If for some reason, you are not sure what your goal is. Take a few steps back, and try to understand why you do what you do. You need a clear conviction about the goal. Write it down and then map out how to get there. You will be excited about the renewed energy you feel, as you work towards hashing out that clear vision/goal.
