What inspired you to start up your business?

I’ve had lots of inspirations but I’ll tell you a story. I’m the type that spots dirty areas easily, whenever I visit a friend/relative, I could trace dirty spots and corners easily and most times I end up asking for rag/ mop/ something I could use to clean as the case may be. All these I did for free. So after a while, I said to my self why not make money from this unusual talent of mine. There are other stories surrounding the birth of my Cleaning Company which I’d share in my forth coming book.

How were you able to raise fund for your business?
All I can say is God has been faithful. I started with the basic cleaning materials you use at home (broom & mop) but today we have heavy machines we use for industrial and commercial cleaning and then smaller machines for domestic cleaning.

How do you advertise your business?

We engage in Radio, Online and Offline marketing but I must say Referral is the best form of marketing because from our statistics so far, most of our recent customers came from referrals.

What are the challenges you’ve faced while running your business?

There have been challenging times, sometimes from clients other times from staffs. I remember when I just started I got disappointed by my staffs, I had to clean the whole apartment alone. You see I’ve got alot of experience to share, watch out for my coming book.

How does it feel being your own boss?

It’s challenging, it’s draining, mentally, physically, sometimes I even have to work overtime. Most times actually. But in general, it feels great. Being an entrepreneur has helped me to contribute to the society by providing clean and healthy spaces and environment thereby reducing the risk of diseases and death rate.

Has it been financially rewarding?
By the grace of God, Jeovil Cleaning Service has over a 100 staffs in Lagos and Abuja… so you do the analysis.

Where do you see your brand in 5 years?
