
Mr Monsur adewale Anthony is young and highly talented, he’s doing a business that is quite recommendable for the health of everyone. He speaks to Elora’s Blog in this interview.
Please tell us more about your background?
OK thank you.. My name is Monsur adewale Anthony, I am a graduate of uniben and also LA belle de cuisine in Lagos… Where I picked of my diploma in culinary arts…. Well I started food from a tender age… Always wanting to bake, cook something … though I grew up with my aunt who was a caterer, so basically I picked interest in food from there.
It means you’re a full time Entrepreneur?
Yes am an entrepreneur, and am into food, drinks and smoothies..

What inspired you to start up your business?
The inspiration for me to start up was due to the love I have for anything eatable, and also base on the current situation of the country, salary Jobs can hardly sustain, and I have lots of bills to pay.. Lol… And most importantly am also looking at using food and drinks to touch lives.
How were you able to raise fund for your business?
Funds….. Hmmmm it’s not easy, I had to work, well I used to teach food and nutrition in a school, so I used my salaries as funds, and also I go out for events, get paid and channel d money for my business
I do advert on instagram, my whatsapp status…. Tweeter handle… And mouth to mouth communication.
What are the challenges you’ve faced in your business?
Alot, transportation means, prices of fruits…. and some times the fruits are not fresh…. Because you buy them in bulk so it will be cheaper and by the time you want to use, your observation shows that some are already spoilt. But the most common challenge I have now is lack of fund cause I still need to buy more equipment… Like enough equipments.
What’s your customer remarks?
All my customers love d job… But u know Nigerians, some will still complain about one thing or the other, either they say why is d cups small or y is it not so block… And at times u are just so confused… But trust me most of dem remarks are good.
How do you utilise your business with the present light situation?
Well….. I thank God I could easily get ice blocks at most super market… And where there is an event, a generator most be on… So we use it to power our blenders… See why I said I still need more funds to still get more equipment…. But am still growing.
Has it been financially rewarding?
To some extent it has, for now am still doing less expensive than most outlets… So am still paying my bills to the society, but am making my money little and the more the events, the more I get paid…… So I pray for more events and I hope they come my way….
