Man Who Resigned From The Banking Industry 12 Years Ago During Recession, Succeeds, Now Runs A Big Consultancy Firm, Creates 1,000 Jobs

A man named Bankole Williams II has narrated how he resigned from guaranty trust bank 12 years ago in the middle of a recession. His friends thought he was crazy.

Today he is thanking God for making such decisions as he started a consulting firm that has trained over 40 employee of corporate institutions this year alone.

Sharing the amazing testimony on Facebook, he wrote;

December 31st is one day I can never forget. 12 years ago, on this day, I walked out of my office – Plural house, Guaranty Trust Bank and never walked back in as an employee.

I recall the day I was going to drop my resignation letter, I walked into the toilet on the 2nd floor in tears. Banking was all I knew so I wavered at the decision I was about to make but my heart knew something that my head was playing catch up on.

My colleagues said I was crazy. “Who leaves a good paying job in the middle of a recession?”, they said. All I knew was when I prayed, I heard clearly “December 31 will be your last day” so I prepared for this fateful day.

Fastforward

Today, I run a massively successful management Consulting practice @lydconsulting. This year alone we had over 40 training sessions between January and October; empowering thousands of employees of Corporate institutions.

I run a foundation @lydafrica and this year we hit our goal of creating 1000 jobs for unemployed young people across Africa and today, our beneficiaries run sustainable businesses.

This year, I launched the Science of Astounding results (SOAR) and members of my community are truly producing astounding results. Sharing testimonies of abundance, healing, jobs, breakthroughs in magnificent proportions are a regular occurrence in our tribe.

I often imagine “What if I stayed back?” I would have missed out on this beautiful life! The worst part is not even knowing what I would have missed.

I am eternally grateful for the courage I mustered in the toilet that day. After wiping the tears off my face, I walked to HR to submit that letter. Little did I know, this was what God had in store.

I am just here to say “God I am grateful”. You indeed are the Grand Designer and the Master Puppeteer; always pulling the strings, using the least likely events to work the most mighty!

As you enter 2022, remember this – there is more space that things in this world. Do not be deceived, there is always more room for you to occupy. The possibilities always outweigh the challenges. All devils combined nor fit reach
