Man Who Joined The US Army 2 Years Ago Gets Loads Of Rewards, Says He Earned It And He’s Proud Of His Accomplishment

A man named Taiwo Abdul-Gafar Akorede Jr., who joined the US army barely two years ago has shared a transformational photos of his uniform being decorated with more lapels & badges
as he has been rewarded tremendously.

Sharing the exciting news on LinkedIn, he wrote:

So, yesterday made it 2 years I joined the US Army and I am so proud of every one of my accomplishments so far. It’s been a challenging but great experience and I am proud of my becoming. I thank God for every opportunity to grow into a better man for myself and the people around me. I have shifted from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset – practically. I’ve had opportunities to fail many times and try again till I get it right. I’ve had opportunities to practice what I preach and keep my focus on the end goal and not the present obstacles.

So, as you can see in those two suits, one has more lapels & badges and ofcourse more alluring than the other 😊😉. It’s not just an identity, but also a representation of, and reward for hard-work and dedication.

None of those were given for real; they were earned 😊. One of the reasons why I love the millitary is that, once your hardwork is acknowledged , you’ll be rewarded for it and once you’ve earned it, it’s forever yours; no one can take it away from you.

I really look forward to a greater experience on this journey as I progress. I understand there is a reason for every bit of it and I am optimistic about it because it will prevail for the world to see.
Once a soldier, always a soldier 😊! #soldierforlife
