Today, I graduated my Master of science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Glasgow Caledonian University with a distinction!
In the year 2020 just before the #covid19 pandemic struck, I had decided to do my Master degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering. However being that most countries were closing their borders to international students, it took until January 2021, before I could proceed to starting my Master degree.
Through the rigours of remote learning from #Nigeria until when I was able to move to the #UK (to continue a hybrid form of study), I exhibited a characteristic dexterity, hard work and excellence to graduate top of my Msc cohort today.
I want to say special thanks to my new HOD Prof Tuleen Boutaleb (who coincidentally doubled as my project supervisor), Dr Ryan Gibson (my programme leader at the time) and Dr. Mario Mata who took over from him for their selfless service in assisting international students work through teething challenges, as well as staff of the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and SCEBE at #gcu.
Today, I have treaded the paths which you all have trod. And I feel fulfilled that I have come and conquered.
My dissertation which was on the IoT based Investigation of #v2x communication in #5g for different radio propagation conditions, further has piqued my interest in mission critical #IoT infrastructure as well #terrain modelling and where I can go from here remains boundless.
I started my Msc programme as a bachelor (literally) and today, I have gotten married to the most beautiful and wonderful woman who has added a further beauty to my academic status.
It is now time to progress this career and I’m rearing to go!
