Man Celebrates Bagging 4 Fully-Funded Scholarships In The U.S And U.K After 4 Rejections

A Nigerian man named Kehinde Adebiyi it’s in a celebratory mood at the moment, as he just bagged 4 scholarship abroad.

Sharing the good news on his LinkedIn platform, he wrote;

This past year is a testament of grace as I achieved great success beyond my imaginations. I am very excited to have been offered fully funded PhD offers at three Universities in the United States including Indiana University, Purdue University and University of Pittsburgh. I am very ecstatic to have also bagged the prestigious Chevening Scholarship to pursue a Masters degree at The University of Birmingham.

I have decided to resume to Indiana University Bloomington, United States to pursue my PhD in Microbiology.

The above success story is a culmination of hard work, mentorship and intense consistency. Having gotten four rejections in the 2020 application cycle, I changed my game plan and sought help from reputable individuals who have achieved my desired goal. I joined EducationUSA Lagos as a member and an OFP Scholar, I worked closely with my professors to publish six academic papers and I was immersed in a one-year fellowship program at the Nigerian University of Technology and Management to sharpen my skills. It was truly an overwhelming journey but one filled with diligence.

As the title of my co-authored book posited, truly, NATURE PAYS DILIGENCE.

I am a product of the constant support of my twin brother -Taiwo Adebiyi, and the love of my parents and prayers of my Pastor. I owe a debt of gratitude to my academic mentors which include Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun (immediate Vice Chancellor of LASU), Prof. Obayori, Omotola Fashola , Bolanle Opere and my other teachers.

I am grateful to my graduate school journey mentors such as Jake Okechukwu Effoduh, Oluwaseun Abiodun Adekoya , Samuel Adeniyi Adeleye , Chinonso Odebeatu and all FCLN Family. I am deeply glad to be part of the career team led by Pelumi Olugbenga and my fellow like-minded colleagues – Olaide Oludayo Abiona, Oladimeji Shotunde, Ogunyemi Habib, Sarah Oladejo and others. A big thank you to the EducationUSA Lagos family who helped me realized my goals.

Truly, what we hope ever to do with ease, we must first learn to do with diligence.

Congratulations to him.
