Lady Who Got Fired From Her Job Starts Her Own Pharmacy, Launches Another Branch 7 Years After

As shared by Kirsty Amamgbo on LinkedIn

The lady was her friend and colleague, she took to the LinkedIn platform to celebrate her with Inspirational message. She wrote:

She was fired, but her fire kept burning bright.

Mrs Peace was a senior colleague who had worked as a #Sales representative for
close to 6 years before I started my journey as a newbie.

I worked with her at some point in the company.

She was never promoted even to a Senior Rep not to mention a Manager.

One day, she got to work and the first thing that greeted her was a sack letter

It was so demoralizing, especially when it wasn’t preplanned.

That didnt stop her fire from burning.

She went ahead to start her pharmacy outlet with the little savings she had

She could barely pay for her first rent to secure the place, she pleaded with the Landlord.

She was allowed to pay part and pay the rest in two months.

It was Divine favor from God, cause you can’t see that happen with Landlords in Lagos.

She started her pharmacy outlet from the scratch.

Soon she started getting customers, her business began to expand.

This year makes it 7 years she started her business.

Yesterday, she just launched another branch of her pharmacy /supermarket.

This time around, she bought the building, no paying of rent.

I learnt so much from her story;

✍🏻 She didn’t allow that sack letter stop her from been great
✍🏻 She didn’t allow failure get the best of her.
✍🏻 She picked up the pieces of her life and forged ahead.

Today, she is the CEO to a big company.

Her own company❗.

Imagined if she had given up or see herself as a failure.

She won’t even get to half of what she is now.

DEAR #LinkedIn FAM,

 ✍🏻 No condition is permanent.

✍🏻 There is no problem that doesn't have an expiry date.

“Always believe in yourself and always stretch yourself beyond your limits. Your life is worth a lot more than you think because you are capable of accomplishing more than you know. You have more potential than you think, but you will never know your full potential unless you keep challenging yourself and pushing beyond your own self imposed limits”. – Roy T. Bennett,
