A Twitter user has taken to the platform to share her encounter with an electrician who mistook her to be a prophetess after she called him by his full name.

Twitter user, @Ms_Dashy left many people gasping for air from laughter after she took to the platform to share a recent encounter with an overly spiritual electrician who came to work at her place.

Having gotten his full name via the phone number identification app, True Caller, she addressed him by the name. This however, left the electrician not only surprised but convinced that she was a prophetess sent by God.

In her words: “A new electrician came to work in our house. I called him his name and surname cuz that’s what I saw on true caller. Dude was so shocked and started asking me if I am a Prophet! Now he wants me to pray for him and his children”

The post which has since gone viral on the micro-blogging platform with over 2,000 likes, left many social media users amused.

While some had a laugh about the gullibility of people when it came to religion and technology, others shared experiences of their own.
