Lady Who Worked As Security Officer Lands Internship Job At Big Oil Firm

Nkechi Benjamin has finally gotten an internship placement in a leading oil & gas firm Duport Midstream Company Limited and will officially be resuming on the 2nd of August 2021.

I made a post sometime last month about Nkechi Benjamin who recently graduated from Imo State University and how against all odds doing menial job, from janitor to a security officer at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. She still saw herself through school cause she knows the importance of Education has finally gotten her first ever internship placement right from the university.

When I shared her story and after speaking to her, I knew she was on the right track. All she needed was an opportunity and a mentor to push her. I immediately created and optimized a LinkedIn profile and also drafted a CV for her to enable recruiters reach her directly.

She got a number of internship offers but has decided to work for Duport Midstream Company Limited. She complained of not having an accommodation in Lagos to stay yet, and she was offered to be accommodated for sometime in the company’s apartment and also a good pay for an internship position.
