TikTok star Jarvis has called out her husband, Peller, over his frequent use of Pidgin English, urging him to change the way he speaks, especially around their unborn child.

The incident occurred during a livestream on Switch, where Jarvis was seen having a video call with Peller. During the conversation, Peller spoke in Pidgin, prompting his wife to express her displeasure.

Jarvis reprimanded him for what she described as misbehaviour and told him to stop speaking Pidgin to their unborn baby. She also questioned whether he believed the child would not recognise his voice.

The TikTok star further advised Peller to communicate with her in English, emphasising the need for him to speak proper English, particularly with a focus on phonetics.

“You dey behave anyhow. Don’t you know that this child can recognise your voice. He dey hear you. Abeg no dey speak pidgin for me. Stop speaking pidgin, speak English with me, speak phonetics with me babe”.
