Funke Akindele Urges Women To Support One Another

Prominent actress Funke Akindele has called for stronger solidarity among women in the entertainment industry, emphasising that “women have to support women.”

Speaking at the Labake Olododo movie premiere, Akindele commended colleague Iyabo Ojo, noting that she “deserves all the support” for her contributions to Nollywood.

The award-winning filmmaker encouraged female creatives to uplift each other rather than compete, adding that unity and collaboration would strengthen the industry and inspire future generations of women.
