Lady Who Was Trained By A Single Mother Becomes Successful HR Professional, Recounts Her Blessings

Beautiful lady named Veronica Woods has shared an amazing transformational story on the challenges she encountered growing up and being trained by a single mom.
She emerged top best in her class as a student, and she’s presently an HR Professional.

She shared her story on LinkedIn and captioned it:

I was raised by a single mother with an eighth grade education.

We never had a car because my mom was not able to drive. She had seizures growing up. I remember walking to doctor’s appointments when I was sick.

We were on welfare and food stamps. I never asked to join any extra curricular activities in school because I hated to put any financial pressure on her.

She did the best she could and it made me the woman I am today! I graduated in the top 10% of my class in high school, went on to college and am a successful HR professional and a paralegal. I’m eternally grateful for God keeping me through all life has thrown at me! #VWoods #hrprofessional.
