Lady Who Failed So Much In Life, Says “Failure Is Where We Truly Grow”, Shares The Number Of Times She Has Failed In Life

Pretty lady named Dr. Jennifer Caudle has recounted the number of times she has failed in life, but she has no regrets, and concluded that failure it’s where we really grow.

Sharing on LinkedIn, she wrote;

I have failed so much in my life:

  • nearly failed college physics 💫
  • I choked during the Interview portion of the Miss America Pageant in 1999 when I competed as Miss Iowa 👸🏽
  • I failed tryouts for the Little League Baseball team in 6th grade ⚾️
  • I didn’t hit the high E in 9th grade during my French Horn solo at our orchestra concert 🎼
  • My MCAT scores left much to be desired 📝
  • Multiple fellowships, scholarships and awards I didn’t win 🥇
  • Many med schools I didn’t get into 🏫
  • Many relationships that didn’t work out 💍
  • Many tv show auditions I didn’t win 📺

And I could go on and on and on and on. I used to scoff and cringe at my failures, but I’ve learned that failure is where we truly grow. It’s where we develop grit and strength and perseverance. It’s where we renew our commitment to ourselves and our mission in life.

Failure is where we learn to pull ourselves up by the boot-straps even though we don’t think getting up is possible. Failure is where we learn about ourselves and we overcome.

Winning is easy.

Losing and failing is the hard part. Those who are successful have failed over and over and over again.

The next time you fail and feel as though you’re in the depths of the valley of despair, remember there is more that you will learn from that experience than others. Use it to your advantage. Use it to grow and learn.

Most importantly, remember that failure is actually a key to success. Without failure, many things wouldn’t be possible.
