Lady Studying For Her PHD Program, Celebrates Passing Her Qualifying Exam With Distinction

Congratulations are in order for a young lady named Brianna Gonga-Cavé, who’s studying for her PHD as she just passed her qualifying exam with distinction. Says she’s proud of the accomplishment.

Sharing the exciting news with friends on LinkedIn, she wrote:

After 2 years of research, I’ve hit a major milestone in my Ph.D. program. Yesterday, I passed my qualifying exam with distinction. This exam is composed of a short presentation followed by a 2-hour rigorous oral examination.

I can now officially call myself a Ph.D. Candidate. I am proud of this accomplishment and I look forward to publishing my work soon.
