Meet – Madimo Mimo Mokgosi, inspirational Liver Transplant and Covid-19 Survivor living with Lymphedema from Freestate, South Africa.

In 2008, she was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis which led to her having a Liver Transplant in 2013, followed by Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Gout, Miliary TB and a rare disease called Lymphedema causing her left leg to swell.

“I have been through a lot in life but I’m still standing.

I thank God for the gift of life, I’m forever grateful to my family, my doctors and my organ donor without them I wouldn’t have made it thus far.” “I would like to encourage people to donate organs. I was saved by someone I will never get to know, but I know a part of him lives – he lives in me,” said Madimo.
