“I Was Only 5 When I Started Selling, I learnt Profit And Loss Early”- Successful Businessman Shares Motivation

CEO/Founder Project Nations, Ifeanyi Akaleme, has shared his grass to grace story.

Ifeanyi was only 5 years old when he started selling to support his mum.

He narrated briefly how he enjoyed it because he learnt profit and loss early, he also
learnt how to relate with people and especially, speak up when people wanted to cheat on him because he was only a child, and went further to share few motivating words.

He shared a photo of his mum on LinkedIn and wrote:

I was only 5 when I started selling 🥺

Things were so hard in the family. My mother worked so hard in the family and I had to support her.

So, before and after school, I would pick up my tray to sell whatever goods she had.

I enjoyed it because I learned profit and loss early.

I learned how to relate with people and especially, speak up when people wanted to cheat on me because I was only a child.

From my early years of my selling, I learned that building good relationships is one of man‘s biggest chances of survival.

I started doing that – being good to everyone I met on the street.

I was so good to people that a lot of big men who I met in the market wanted me to serve them.

Yesterday, I realized I wasn’t the only one who sold at an early age.

The investment juggernaut, WARREN BUFFET started selling at 7.

I could still count the advantages of having this top-notch early experience.

You know, many times we regret the days of our little beginnings, and many times we ask the question – why me?

Why wasn’t I born rich?

Why do I have to suffer so much?

God has a purpose and a plan for your life.

Let your story inspire the world.
