Amaka Uba Chime shares an amazing story that is still fresh in her memory with Elora’s Blog

She says:

Yea she was my childhood friend, from children choir in church… , we attended the same primary school, same secondary sch and class, then i changed school.. But we were still bestie.

Then we gain admission into Benson idahosa university, while i studied at the university of Benin (Uniben) always paying each other visits at school.

Vivian was the one that always make hair.. We wear the same clothes and all that.. Then on the 24 of December, after coming home for xmas holiday, a friend invited us for Carol night, after the program, we decided to visit her house before going to my house and we entered different okada, that was around 9.25pm….

The first okada came and she entered it while i was waiting for another to come, I waited for like 5mins before seeing another okada to carry me…. Not up to 2mins of driving…on the bike, i saw a large crowd and there was holdup so i bekoned on the okada to slow down to know what happened… Behold it was my Vivian on the floor dead, the bike she entered clashed with a vehicle and that was how she died on the spot.

I was very devastated.. i was shaking and crying at the same time… I was very confused cause i could not believe that my Vivian is gone… That Christmas was black for me cause i lost my dearest friend and yea its been exactly 14years ago she died.
