First Class Graduate Celebrates As She Gets Hired By Guinness Nigeria

A lady Omotola Olajide who made first class in school has shared the challenges she encountered looking for a job because most of the companies she applied to, thought she was too good for the roles. She eventually got hired by Guinness Nigeria and it’s a dream come true for her.

Sharing her story on LinkedIn, she captioned it;

At some point in my life this year, being a first class graduate became a weakness.

I had removed it from my CV because some organizations thought I was too good for the roles I applied for, while multinationals rarely have job openings.

Alas! Diageo found me and welcomed me into the team. Best believe when I say that the recruitment process was the fastest and easiest that I have experienced. The HR team is second to none.

Now, I am proud that I never gave up in pursuing my dream. Cheers to Diageo (Guiness Nigeria) for this great opportunity.

As I journey through, I hope to learn, grow and develop the set skills for my career.
