“Better Healthcare, Reliable Utilities, Security & Safety”- Lady Outlines Everything She Enjoys Living in Canada
A young lady named princess Janet has shared how Canada transformed her life as she outlines everything she enjoys living in the country.
Sharing on Facebook, she wrote:
Reliable Utilities – I enjoy 24/7 electricity and water without the hassle of maintaining a solar panel, generator, or borehole. Moving into a house is seamless—all utilities is set up, and I only need to pay monthly for the services I use.
Better Healthcare – Unlike where I come from, where people sometimes have to buy fuel and bring their generator to keep their family alive, Canada’s healthcare system is stable. I recently heard that UCH has been without electricity for months, that kind of situation is unthinkable here.
Healthcare is also free to a large extent.
Public Services & Infrastructure – Although taxes are high, I see the benefits in good roads, reliable emergency services, free quality education up to high school, monthly child benefits, daycare subsidies, grants, and free healthcare.
Security & Safety – I feel much safer. There’s no need for burglary-proof doors and windows, yet there’s little fear of break-ins. If anything happens, I can call emergency services, unlike in some places where people fear the police instead of trusting them.
Freedom of Movement – I can take a walk without worrying about bandits or herdsmen kidnapping me. There’s a sense of security knowing that law enforcement is active and functional.
Work-Life Balance – There’s a better balance between work and personal life, with labor laws that protect workers from excessive hours and ensure fair wages.
Living here has truly been life-changing, offering stability, security, and opportunities that were harder to come by before.
While I enjoy all this, Canada like every country have its own disadvantages, I will write about that on another day, infact it will probably be longer than this write up.
Until we get to heaven, no place will be perfect without its own pitfalls, you just have to choose the pitfalls that you can manage.
