Influencer Daniel Regha Outlines The Problems Of Nigerian Hospitals After Comedian Lasisi Recounts Bitter Experience That Led To The Death Of His Mum

Lasisi spoke about the poor healthcare system in this country, but only spake about the unavailability of beds in hospitals. I understand that this is him speaking from personal experience, RIP to his mom. However, this is the list of the problem.

-Let’s talk about the cards being sold in hospitals before you can even see a medical practitioner, even in times of emergency.

-Let’s talk about how many hospitals sell medications at an overprice and remove the packs so patients don’t know the name or brand to repurchase elsewhere.

-Let’s talk about how essential things like oxygen are over expensive, or how hospitals ask you to come with your own medical cleaning materials, even when it’s not needed.

-Let’s talk about how doctors will push for birth thru operation, C-section, instead of waiting for the patient to try the natural delivery. All to make money.

-Let’s talk about how doctors will deliberately transfer or recommend patients to their own private hospitals and clinics just to make money.

-Let’s talk about how hospitals often sell things donated to the establishment. These are just a few problems.

Our govts are incompetent, and the medical practitioners make it incredibly worse.
