An African designer, Rebecca Zoro, has achieved a milestone in her creative design as Beyonce wore her piece of clothing.
Rebecca is also the owner of Yhebe Design. In an inspiring grass-to-glory story, she said she started the company with just a single sewing machine. Rebecca in a BBC News interview said that one thing is sure in life, that one “starts small you have nothing to lose.” She said she is a Gouro woman and women of such origin are known to be strong, fighters and very charismatic. “We have such a wide and diverse culture, that it is a shame not to use it,” she said.
The young African lady said that the idea behind her company is “to highlight the African woman, the Ivorian woman.” Rebecca said her dream is to have a Yhebe’s shop in big cities like New York and Paris, among several others.
