MAJOR LIFE UPDATE: I’ve moved into my dream apartment near my dream job!!🥺

It’s the first time in my life I live away from family. I used to live with my parents, then moved to live with my siblings, and now I’m living by myself in San Francisco, California!

It’s certainly scary. New York welcome me as my new home after I left the Dominican Republic to come to the US

The little Steph who used to run in the small towns in my home country would’ve never ever dreamed of being where she is now

As a 23 yr old Gen-Z, first-gen low income latina, I take this as an opportunity to open doors for others. For those who have dreams and want to make them a reality. To break generational curses and build generational wealth

I want to continue building and expanding my help for jobseekers and everyone who feel like they’re not good enough

I’m doing all of this for me, yes, but I’m also doing it for my family, for my immigrant parents who sacrificed everything to bring me to America and give me better opportunities

I’m doing it for the future generation

7 years ago I was a non-English immigrant with no idea of what I was doing. We had barely any money to live here. We literally lived check by check every month and I remember using a broken computer to do college homework until I was able to afford a new one a few years later

Now I can see that dreams do become real, because I’m living a life I never thought I could have. I never take anything for granted, so as I’m writing this post, I’m sharing it in Spanish to my parents and telling them that one day I’ll hopefully buy a house for them, and for me

And more importantly, we’ll get to share more experiences together.

This is our dream.
