“Yes, they broke your heart. Yes, you did not get that job. Okay, your visa application was denied. But, no matter your disappointment, refuse to stay down. Cry the first day. Be melancholy the second day. But like your Saviour, you must rise on the third day. You were betrayed for a reason. It is part of the plan. Without your Judas, you can’t have your resurrection. See things from God’s perspective. You were not rejected in that relationship. You were protected from that relationship. If a tree won’t yield you fruit, there is no point in seeking shade under it. Move on. Don’t make the pain permanent. Let your hurt be like the moon. It appears at night and is gone by morning.”
