‘We Need Actions, Not Prayers’: Netizens Criticise Pastor Jerry Eze As He Prays Aggressively Over Insecurity

Pastor Jerry Eze is one of the trending topics online following a new video of him praying aggressively over insecurity in Nigeria.

In the clip making the rounds online, Pastor Jerry Eze the founder and Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International, and the convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD) was praying fervently for Nigeria and by extension, it does not sit well with Nigerians.

PastorJerry Eze, who is the richest YouTuber in Nigeria, was seen praying for the country over abduction of 25 schoolgirls in Kebbi and Kwara church attack where three people were killed and a large number of people were kidnapped.

However, the video of pastor Jerry Eze on top of his voice praying, shedding tears, got many Nigerians angry with them, stressing that religion remains one of the country’s major problems.

According to online discussions around the clip of Pastor Jerry Eze, many believe that influential figures like him should use their platform to take action, not just pray.
