Year 7
I am a 7th Year MD-PhD Candidate
Let me say that again, “sigh”
7th year of MD-PhD candidacy
The goal of becoming a physician-scientist is much closer

If I am asked whether I would do it all over again,
I would say YES!
And I do not mean that lightly
This great journey for the pursuit of knowledge, science and self-discovery has been life-changing.

Somethings take time
Somethings take vision
Somethings take sacrifice
Somethings take determination
Somethings take action.

Forward, always
Dreams don’t work unless you do
No matter what life keeps throwing at you,
You keep it moving
No matter what life keeps throwing at you,
You keep striving for success
Consistency is what’s going to keep you there.

Life can be difficult at times
Goals can be very challenging
The never-ending running around and stress to get things done
The constant anxieties and fight to stay in the race
Don’t let it make you resent life
Learn to count your blessings
Learn to see the beauty in the struggle
Learn to look at those who have less than you
Those who would trade places with you at the drop of a hat.
