
“Some People Are Born To Cook”-Says Nigerian Chef And Restaurateur, Hilda Baci As She Celebrates International Chef’s Day
Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, is a Nigerian chef, restaurateur, actress, and the current holder of the Guinness World Record for marathon cooking (Cook-athon) with 93 hours 11 minutes, setting a new record after surpassing Indian chef Lata Tondon 87 hours, 45 minutes cooking marathon in 2023.
The chef took a lovely photo and posted on her Instagram while celebrating international chef’s day today 20th October 2023. She briefly captioned it:
“Some people live to eat and some people are born to cook. On the occasion of international chef’s day, I wish you all the success with your cooking”.
Each year on October 20th, we celebrate International Chefs Day.
Since its creation by the Late Chef Dr. Bill Gallagher in 2004, Worldchefs has committed to using International Chefs Day to celebrate our noble profession.
