She shared photos of her beautiful girls as she graduates on LinkedIn, read her post below:
On Sunday, I graduated with my Master’s in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. All three of my girls were there to watch me walk in cap and gown (and so was my amazing supportive husband, parents, and my little sister).
I completed this degree in two years, I started in fall 2020. During my schooling I was working full-time, was pregnant, and gave birth to my third child. I can’t tell you how many nights I would put the kids to bed and then head to my desk to do homework all night or the amount of Saturdays and Sundays I missed out on family time because I was taking an exam or cramming for the next one.
Not to mention all the virtual class sessions I took on Zoom with a baby on my lap or the ones I didn’t want to call into while exhausted and 9 months pregnant!
All of this to say, it sure has not been an easy journey (and I really wish I listened to my husband who advised me to get my second degree before we started having kids). But these three girls have been my motivation all through, and knowing I’m setting an example for them is what even still keeps me going to be the best I can be.
Find your why and your engine will never run dry.
