“First Doctor In My Family”- Man Says As He Graduates From The Howard University College Of Medicine

A man named Zackary Brown has made history in his family as the first to become a Doctor.

Zackary graduated from THE Howard University College of Medicine, says
“My mama told me “you can be anything that you want to be” and I believed it”.

Sharing the testimony with friends on LinkedIn, He wrote:

My mama told me “you can be anything that you want to be” and I believed it. With her words and my determination, I would become the 1st to graduate high school, a top 20 senior at Vanderbilt and as of May 7, 2022 I am now a graduate from THE Howard University College of Medicine.

From first high school graduate to first doctor in my family, this has not been an easy journey but every chapter was worth the lessons and growth. I am excited because in one week, Dr. Zackary Brown, your new favorite Pediatrician, is moving to NYC🍎 to learn and practice at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital.

I’m excited about the vast opportunities to grow and serve as a doctor, advocate and mentor to our youth in one of the most diverse cities in the country.
