A former banker who relocated to Canada has shed light on her monthly pay when she worked in Nigeria.

She compared her earnings in a month back home to her current earnings and hailed the North American country.

Her post triggered some internet users who urged her to also outline what Canada’s expenses are like.

A Nigerian lady who relocated to Canada has listed what her salary was as a banker back home.

According to @bobina003 on social media, she earned N80k per month as a Nigerian banker.

@bobina003 said she earns more in Canada, saying her two-week pay is more than 1,000 Canadian dollars (over N1 million).

In her words: “When I was receiving 80k monthly as salary as a banker in Nigeria (earning more than 1000$ here in two weeks),” the caption on her TikTok video read.

Providing more details in the comments section, the lady wrote: “Even as temporary residents, [they] sum up the money since the day you came to Canada and give it to them when you finally get PR; so many benefits.”

She added that Canada is a great enabling environment to thrive. “…It’s important to live within your means and focus on teamwork in your family dynamic. That [the pay] is my own alone my husband is not included.”
