Mom Who Started Studying Mechanical Engineering A Week After Giving Birth Graduates
She shared her testimony on varsity world Facebook. See her post below;
“So 2 years ago 27 January I gave birth to my beatiful daughter. When I fell pregnant I had already decided to do Btech mechanical engineering the following year, after all that I had a choice to put my studies on hold and enjoy some time with my new born, but because I knew that with or without a new born…studying was never going to be easy.
A week after giving birth I started attending my classes since I was on maternity leave. I would do assignment breastfeeding. It was not easy but I had my eyes on the price 📚🎓. At some point I would drive from work straight to school only to get home while every one was sleep. It used to hurt but I knew it was gona be over.
Today was suppose to be my graduation ceremony that I planned to celebrate with my 2 kid aged 2 and 4 and make memories with them since they suffered the journey. Mommy has made it🙌🙌
Black child, no matter the situation you will make it.”-Sharon Mathevula
