Meet The Pretty Lady Who Left Her Job To Become A Photographer & She’s Proud Of It

Stunning and beautiful vibrant Damilola Felicia Yusuf has taken to her LinkedIn platform to share the reason why she left her job to become a photographer. Writing on LinkedIn, she wrote:

Permit me to have two minutes of your

time by re-introducing myself to you.

My name is Damilola and I am a corporate and personal branding photographer.

I am unapologetic for what I do and I am proud of what I stand for. I am not the kind of photographer who owns a studio and decide to sit there all the days of her life.

I am a photographer who wants to travel the world and make a name for herself.

I am one who intends to work on big projects that impacts people through photography.

I am the kind of photographer who appears to cover an event looking like a bag of money💰 .

I am the kind of photographer who gets her hair neatly done, makeup perfectly done, wear an outfit that is spontaneous, classy, simple and elegant for a shoot😉.

Photography for me is more than holding a piece of camera to capture someone. I believe pictures last a lifetime and the emotions expressed when the shot was taken can either make you happy🙂 or sad😒.

Do I ever regret leaving a 9-5 job? No I do not. As a matter of fact, being an entrepreneur is a 24hours job⏱. The ability to be optimistic and having strong faith in yourself leads people to understand who you are and as a result cheer for you.

Once the pandemic is over, I’m definitely going to be traveling round the world to help organizations and individuals cover events and personal shoots. This not a dream but it’s my own reality.

Being an entrepreneur allows me to develop myself and explore potentials I never knew existed. It gives me room to want to push myself to do greater things.

Are everyday rosy? Lol they are not. At least once or twice a week, I get angry and moody for no reason. My mum still asks me “what do I want to do with my life” at least twice a week (despite me telling her I’m doing photography full time).

I’m not the kind of photographer people disregard in events because I’ve got values and I know my self worth. Also, I’ve passed the stage of collecting peanuts for jobs that I know so much energy and dedication would be put into.

Photographers round the world are not just people you pay off. Rather, they are people who capture your memories and makes its last the test of time.

I am Royalty and I stand confident with my passion turned a full time job!

Why am I saying all this?

We are in the second part of the year and I’m encouraging you to stand up to become who you truly desire to be.

Love that Job! Start that side hustle! Take that course! so you don’t regret in years to come why you didn’t follow your dreams.

I’m excited about my future. Are you?
