You’re an Entrepreneur, what is the name of your business and what does your business entails?
Yes I am. My business name is Seun Robinson Global Resources. It is a personal development company where we train professional brands either personal or corporate.
How did you get an experience as a performance coach?
We all perform at various levels but the difference between high fliers and those who struggle to achieve results made me curious, which lead to my discovery that strategies abound that enhance performance and so for the past ten years, I have been training with Junior Chamber International on various subject area that enhances Performance.
Did you attend any training before becoming a performance coach?
I am an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of training and development (NITAD), I am also an associate Professional mentor and coach with the Charted Institute of Corporate Mentoring and Coaching Nigeria (CICMCN).
What inspired you to start up your business?
I wanted more out of life beyond my job. I wanted to impact more lives outside the confines of my career. I love to volunteer and serve humanity, so doing that on my terms was easier if I had my own firm.

That’s what inspired me. The ability to be able to lead a change when I see the need for one.
You’ re also an Author, give us a brief background about your book?
I am an Amazon best-selling author. I have published two books.

The first one is titled THE 27TH ALPHABET which is a book on effective communication through writing. We all can write but not everyone has mastered the act of writing effectively and that’s what the book addresses. I believe effective communication is the bedrock of every niche out there.

The second book is titled IJE: FROM INVISIBLE TO PROFITING.
It is a compilation of the journey of 23 influencers and entrepreneurs in different niches from their years of struggling to relevance.
It encompasses over 100 strategies that worked for them.
You can’t afford to read it and not find a pattern you can make use of on your journey to Profiting.
Getting a copy is like buying twenty-three books for the price of one.
How were you able to raise fund to start up your business?
I teach, train, consult and coach so I didn’t necessarily have to raise funds. My salary from my paid job helps but I didn’t need a start up capital per say.
I simply started with what I had, my skills, certification, experience and platforms.
What major challenges have you encountered in your business?
The business of coaching at times make you come in contact with all manner of people, it takes discipline at times to stay professional when irked.
Balancing work and family life in the early days was also a challenge, but not anymore. Still as the day go by, challenges will spring up but once you have a clarity of purpose, you can surmount it.
What platform do use to advertise your business?
The basic social media platforms and the print media. I have been featured on different magazines as well.

You’re the boss, how does it feel working for yourself?
It’s exciting yet demanding. It’s so tempting to want to rest on your oars since you are not answerable to any boss but an entrepreneur going far in the business will be all means stay focused and give full attention to the business.
Will you say it’s been financially rewarding?
Yes but can be better.
I am not yet where I want to be but I am definitely not where I used to be.
There is room for more growth and rewards system even if not financially.
So far, I thank God for how far I have come.
Where do you see your brand in 5 years?
On the international scene preaching the gospel of profitable peak performance. It’s global relevance we seek and plans are in place to achieve that.
I will admonish budding entrepreneurs to get clear in their purpose early enough, invest in personal development and start where they are with what they have.
