What inspired you to start up your business?

The 9-to-5 lifestyle felt too rigid and restricting. I wanted a life of freedom and flexibility, one that would allow me to jump on a plane with no set return date and travel, one that would allow me go to bed and wake up at my own time. ….and I have been able to do just that.

The bridal shower concept it’s most common in the western world, how do you get customers in Nigeria?

Mostly through referrals and word of mouth advertisements, on why one should have a bridal or baby shower.

What major challenges have you encountered in your business?

Timing is one of the prominent challenge because on the mindset showers are held on a Friday and at night, which is wrong,
and the issue of pricing, where one can’t have a fixed price because of different theme and venue.

What platform do use to advertise your business?

Facebook @jenephaz couture Ltd
IG @jenephaz couture ltd
Whatapp @ 07031516500
And word of mouth.

You’re the boss, how does it feel working for yourself?

It feels really GREAT I must say.

Will you say it’s been financially rewarding?

Yes it has being rewarding. For such a business, there is no such thing as over night success, the reward is there but you must be consistent.

Where do you see your brand in 5 years?

In 5 years’ time I see Jenephaz event being a house hold names with branches in all geo-political areas in Nigeria , and beyond.

What’s your advice for aspiring Entrepreneurs?

They should not put money first when starting. They should first of all develop passion for the business and start somewhere, no matter how small. They should also know that face is not enough. As a female entrepreneur you need to be well positioned, informed and intelligent to keep your head above your shoulder. And for the male entrepreneur 6 parks isn’t needed all the time. Kolewark…..

Thank you.
