25 -year- old Ekemode Seun, is the founder Of Hotjobsconnect.com.ng. He was inspired to start up the platform because of the desire to create opportunities for the Nigerian youths.

Please tell us a little bit about your background?

My name is Ekemode Seun, I come from a diverse background with experiences in entrepreneurship, technology, and community development.

What was your dream profession growing up?

Growing up, I dreamt of becoming an entrepreneur who could make a positive impact in my community.

Can you share with me your journey to Entrepreneurship?

My journey to entrepreneurship began with a passion for solving problems and creating opportunities. It led me to co-found Hotjobsconnect.com.ng, driven by the desire to address unemployment challenges in Nigeria.

Hotjobsconnect.com.ng: The inspiration for Hotjobsconnect.com.ng came from witnessing the unemployment crisis in Nigeria and the need for a platform that connects job seekers with opportunities seamlessly.

You run a job website, how has your platform impacted the Nigerian youth?

Our platform has significantly impacted Nigerian youth by providing them with access to job opportunities, career guidance, and skill development resources.

How do you generate income from your blog?

We generate income from our blog through various monetization strategies such as advertising, sponsored content, and premium services.

How many Nigerians apply for jobs through your platform on a daily basis?

On average, 500 of Nigerians apply for jobs through our platform daily.

Can you share with me the setbacks and challenges you’ve encountered in this business?

Like any business, we’ve encountered setbacks and challenges, including technological hurdles, competition, and adapting to market demands. However, each challenge has been a learning opportunity that has strengthened our resolve.

What’s the best advise from your experience you can give to the youths who aspire to invest in a business like yours?

My advice to aspiring youths is to be resilient, adaptable, and never stop learning. Surround yourself with a supportive network, embrace failure as part of the journey, and stay focused on your goals.
