What inspired you to start up your business?
What inspired me was the fact that i needed to diversify & considering that the three most basic survival needs in life covers Shelter,Agriculture & clothing.it gave me a focus. As an entrepreneur there’s no limit to what you can achieve in life so i thought to myself “why not diversify?you can have multiple streams of income.”i thought to myself” Agriculture is a very essential aspect of our economy today.so for me,this is an opportunity to embrace.
How were you able to raise fund for your business?
I Got funds from my already existing clothing line to setup my farming business.
How do you advertise your business?
I Advertise my products on social media platforms to attract customers(companies, retailers or final consumers)from far and wide.and also go to near by markets to sell to retailers.
How were you able to raise fund for your business?
I run a 3 hectares farm and i had quite a number of challenges.first, the distance.I drive 45mins to & fro to supervise my work,at most 3 times, weekly.somewhere in Guma LGA of benue state…secondly, tractors can’t have direct access to my farmland due to the structures surrounding it.Therefore,Labour is done manually by local farmers in that settlement which makes the process more difficult & slow.
How do i feel being my own boss?
It feels good! THANKS TO GOD..it is a big priviledge.Am not there yet but am not where i used to be.
Has it been financially rewarding?
Well,i’ve had losses & gain. But i don’t see that as a challenge because it’s something you must encounter.
Where do yous see your brand in the 5 years?
