Georgina Onuoha: Fraud is No Hustle, You’re a Thief No Matter How You Sugar Coat it

Former Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha, recently took to social media to get some things off her chest concerning officeholders who steal money meant for the public.

In a recent Instagram post, the former movie actress turned nurse opined that fraud was in no way a form of hustle. According to her, people who involved in such were thieves and it didn’t matter how well they tried to package it.

Onuoha stated that there was dignity in labour and advised people to stop worshipping these questionable characters who steal money meant for community development.

In her words: “Fraud is not hustle. Manipulating others to make illicit money is not hustle. No matter how you sugar coat it, you’re a thief. Hustle and earn with pride. There is respect and dignity in labour that you built and worked for with honesty and truthfulness.

Stop worshipping criminals stealing money meant to build roads, hospitals, schools, clean water, electricity and basic infrastructure in your communities and country.

Remember that that slay Queen you are worshipping on social is eating money given to her by public office holders meant to pay your fathers retirement and pay doctors and teachers so they don’t go on strike in your community. Until we begin to differentiate between ill-gotten wealth and actual wealth built on integrity, we will continue to be our own worst nightmare.”
