Man Who Got Wheeled On A Chair After An Accident, Celebrates As He Becomes Free From Disability
A man named Ayomide Akindele has shared an amazing testimony on his LinkedIn platform. After being involved in an accident, he was confined into a wheel chair, though he encountered many challenges while he was being treated, he came out victorious and free from disability. See his below:
Hi everyone,
It has been a minute.
I am happy to share that after 19 weeks of being confined to the wheelchair as a result of an accident few months ago (missed a step on the staircase and fell on the rail wings across floors off an high-rise building, leading to crushed ankles, and shock in my lumbar and soft tissues across my spine.
After undergoing lot of consultation and therapy, 3 surgeries, last being an implant of titanium into my left leading to a permanently fixed bionic left foot, super pumped and grateful to God for coming through for me and saving me from disability.
It was a super tough period starting from intense mental stress, and a major problem was inaccessibility in schools, hospitals and other public places, This serves an appeal to governments in this region to provide an inclusive environment for people with disabilities and help them be part of society, happy to have survived this phase and big thank you to my Parents, doctors who supported intensely to help me get back on my feet.
Big shout out to everyone who saw me wheeling myself on the University of Lagos campus roads and helped me, and to everyone who has supported and prayed for me to get through this dark period.
This is officially my biggest achievement!
My praise all to the proven authority in Heaven for coming through for me, as always.
The photo below is now a throwback and i am happy!
There is always magic in the Mess!
Best,
Ayomide
