Man Celebrates New Job As He Becomes Senior Engineer In 9mobile Nigeria

A man named Solomon Pueke has shared his story on his LinkedIn platform after leaving his job to do his master’s, he recounts his achievement. He wrote:

2 years ago I resigned from my position at IHS Towers Nigeria for my Master’s Degree and today I am proud to say the journey is over as I graduated with a first-class with distinction in Industrial Engineering.

The journey hasn’t been smooth but what better way can a sailor learn how to sail if not on a stormy sea.

Over the past 24 months not only have I studied to earn a degree but professionally I have developed myself in quality engineering, lean-six sigma, process improvement and quality management principles.

I wrote, passed and earned the ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and the Certified Quality Process Analyst professional certificate. It wasn’t just about passing the exams but the knowledge and skills I have learnt in the process have truly been a game-changer that I hope to utilize.

I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining EMTS (9mobile Nigeria) as a Senior Engineer: Service Assurance. I can’t wait to discover what this experience holds for me and I look forward to working and learning from the brilliant team at 9mobile.

A special thanks to the HR team for making the recruitment process such a smooth experience with their professionalism, they won my heart even before the offer was made.

Finally, my heartfelt appreciation goes to my family, friends and mentors who have been there for me and also to God Almighty because without HIM there is no ME. If there is one thing I have learnt in life, is to surround yourself with positive people.
