Man Celebrates Mentor Who Believed In Him When It Was Difficult For Him To Believe In Himself, While Working At McDonald’ At Age 18.

A man named Daryl Lowe, J.D has shared photo of his mentor to celebrate her for believing in him.

Daryl met his Mentor when he was working at
McDonald’s at age 18. He said she believed in him at a time when it was hard for him to believe in himself.

He went further to thank her for motivating him by believing that an 18 year old kid could become somebody.

Sharing briefly on his LinkedIn platform he wrote;

In honor of Black History Month, I think of Dr. Avon Burns, my mentor. I met her when I was 18, and working at McDonald’s. She believed in me in times when it was difficult for me to believe and see the value in myself.

There’s nothing greater than thank you. And I thank Dr. Burns for being conscientious enough to believe that an 18 year old kid could be somebody.
