Legendary Actress Eucharia Anunobi pleads for mercy on behalf of young lady who addressed billionaire Businessman Tony Elumelu by his name.

As Nigerians / Africans we have a culture of showing / according respect and honour to our elders ( whether rich or poor) , seniors , bosses , parents and those who have attained heights of honour .
Never calling those older than us by their first name is a distinct part of the training that our parents instills in us and every responsible child adheres to this unwritten law .
We should never allow this beautiful culture be eroded by claiming to be westernised.
We are Nigerians . We are a people of honour.
These distinct characteristics makes us unique .
Wisdom is the rightful application of understanding in whatever environment you find yourself. Ask about how things are done wherever you go before you commit an abomination that will Mar you for life.
Apologise when you do wrong without delay .
