The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made the disclosure during a press briefing. Students in Lagos state may soon resume academic activities in the next two weeks.

He said the decision on the reopening of schools would be taken after a meeting is held with stakeholders in the education sector.

Sanwo-Olu pointed out that the ministry of education and Lagos state safety commission would both be involved in the decision on the reopening of schools.
